Yuletide Wreath Making Workshop at Sneaky Dee's

Presented by Black Mat Society

1 hSneaky Dee's, 431 College street second floor.

Service Description

Gather with us for an evening of greenery, folklore, and a little Yuletide magic. Create your own, all natural lush 12" fresh botanical wreath inspired by the plants, scents, and traditions of the winter season. We’ll work with a selection of fresh seasonal botanicals and natural elements, each chosen not only for its beauty, but for the symbolism and folklore it carries: **Holly** — A traditional winter protector, hung around the home to ward away unwanted energy and invite good fortune. **Cedar** — Associated with cleansing, protection, strength, and longevity. Its evergreen branches are a reminder of life continuing through the darkest part of the year. **Juniper** — Long used in folk traditions for purification and protection, juniper is believed to clear stagnant energy and guard the home. **Cinnamon** — Warm, fiery, and abundant. Cinnamon is associated with prosperity, success, protection, and bringing a little extra warmth into winter workings. **Quince** — A fruit with ancient associations with love, happiness, fertility, and good fortune — a beautiful symbol for welcoming sweetness and abundance into the season. You’ll be guided step-by-step through building and designing your wreath, with plenty of room to make it your own. No floral experience is necessary — just come ready to create. Take home a fresh Yuletide wreath made by your own hands: something beautiful for your door, a seasonal offering for your home, and perhaps a little protective botanical magic for the winter ahead. **All materials provided. No experience necessary.**
